KIRKBYMOORSIDE Primary School children have been helping the town's football team by designing the new logo for next season's kit.
Around 20 pupils entered a competition organised by the the recently-formed Kirkbymoorside Football Supporters Association.
They submitted designs based on football and the town. The winning entry was from ten-year-old Ben Hare, whose design featured the church in Kirkbymoorside.
Emily Preston, 11, and Craig Richardson, ten, came second and third respectively.
Head teacher Chris Knowles said: "It was a nice opportunity for the school to be involved in the local community."
Supporters club member Alex Rivis said the aim of the competition was to get more youngsters involved with the club. She said the club had applied for grants from the Ryedale Regeneration Partnership and the Awards for All scheme to help set up two junior teams for next season.
The supporters association has also set up a club website.
