Fickle hand of fate

MY hands look as though they have been afflicted with some very exotic form of pox. They are spattered blue and red following my none-too-accurate use of the marker spray when we were sorting out lambs for market last night. Lambs that were destined for the abattoir had the blue spot on their fleeces. aSTILL some interest in the sighting of a hummingbird hawkmoth, and an interesting letter, with photographs, via e-mail, from Steve Gould, of I don't know where. He gives me lots of interesting information, and I am beginning to realise that there's very much more in this lepidoptery than I had realised.
